Garlic Prawn Tagliatelle

So what can you cook in 10 minutes which looks fit for a dinner party. To be honest not that much. But these prawns are really fancy fast food.  They are dead simple and a good beginner recipe anyone could cook. This recipe should serve two much the recipe is easily scaled up.

The garlic and butter beautifully compliments both the sea food and the pasta. It can be served as either a starter or a main.

So what you need

  • 10 uncooked tiger prawns
  • 150g Taglitelle
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 50g of butter
  • 2 large garlic cloves diced
  • flat leaf parsley for garnish

To start you will want to cook your pasta you should to this according to the instructions provided.  Once cooked drain and put to one side.

Using a frying pan add your olive oil and heat it. Once your oil is hot enough to slightly shimmer add the diced garlic and fry until it starts to change to a light golden color.

Now add your prawns. You want to cook them until they start to turn pink. Turn down the heat and add your butter you don’t want it to burn.

Add your pasta the pan and mix it well with the butter and prawns. Then serve with some freshly chopped flat leaf parsley.
